Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) has published an advertisement for the comments given below for 2018.

Examination Name:- 1. National Defense Academy: 360
(208 for Army, 60 for Navy and 92 for Air Force)
2. Naval Academy (10 + 2 cadet entry scheme): 55

Educational Qualification:-
(i) For Army Wing of National Defense Academy: 12th class pass of 10 + 2

pattern of school education or equivalent examination organized by the State

Education Board or University.

(ii) For the National Defense Academy's IAF and Navy and 10 + 2 cadet entry scheme in the Indian Naval Academy: 12th class of 10 +2 pattern of school education or equivalent equivalent of physical science and mathematics. State education boards or university students who are appearing in class 12 or 10 + 2 pattern of school education or equivalent examination can also apply for this examination.

Age limit:-
Only unmarried male candidates who have not been born before July 02, 1999 and are not later than July 1, 2002.

Fees:-
Candidates (except SC / ST candidates) / children of JCO / NCO / OR mentioned in note 2 given below are exempt from paying the fee). By depositing the amount through cash in any branch of SBI or using Net Banking facility of State Bank of India / State Bank of Bikaner and Jaipur / State Bank of Hyderabad / State Bank of Mysore (Rs.100 / -) / State Bank of Patiala / State Bank of Travancore or Visa / MasterCard / Kappa Credit / Debit Card.
